No heads were damaged, sold, molded into jello nor harmed during this photo session.
While perusing through Flickr the other night, I noticed an ad for a brand of skin appliers I had never heard of before. PumeC is a sponsor at this month’s Shiny Shabby and is featuring three new skins (appliers based) which are compatible with several mesh head brands. What drew me in initially were the appliers for Genesis Lab mesh heads.
When you’re ready to venture out into mesh head land, here are a few tips I’ve learned to keep on the straight and narrow: (to keep from losing one’s head.. badumdumching)
1. Demo demo demo.. demo with all mesh body parts, brands, heads, relay HUDS the works!
2. Demo with hair, if you can
3. Use a windlight that has minimal shadowing while you demo.
4. Use an eye placement HUD while you demo. I’ve noticed in some mesh heads, how the eyes wander a bit too much for my liking, so I’ve started to carry around my AnyPose Hud like a Visa on steroids.
While I didn’t find an applier that suited my Lilith (Genesis Lab) mesh head, I did find several for my Becky (Visage). PumeC’s Victoria comes with 6 eyeliners, 10 lipsticks and you have 5 skin tones to choose from.
You’ll also notice that each applier at the PumeC store lists which brand of Mesh body product is available for that particular skin. It definitely made my shopping easier and the prices will not cost you an arm or a leg either.
Thanks again for stopping by and if you ever need a shopping buddy, I know a few knuckleheads who’d love to join you! Okay well one, but I don’t bite.
