For the life of me, I cannot figure out how I thought coon hats were a thing back then. Even now, doth thou cringe my fellow residents?!
Strawberry Singh’s latest challenge, First and Recent, actually gives me the opportunity , to show off Zoul Creation’s Gina for this coming Skin Fair. Berry’s quite brilliant like that I think 😉
Meme instructions: Share a side by side comparison of your first blog picture beside a recent picture of your avatar. Don’t forget to share the link to your image in the comments and add your pictures to the Blog Memes flickr group.
I wasn’t able to find the complete article for my first blog post on Cozey, but you can see the first picture for the blog here. I remember it took a good 3 hours on a dying laptop to get my shadows to work properly. It was deliciously crashtastic.
I feel like I’ve come a long way since then, particularly working an image’s composition. Everything on Second Life improved when mesh was enabled, and for me personally, things improved when I
squandered invested in a decent machine.
Fitting lashes, working my shape, learning how to properly ‘zoom’,
selling my soul, I mean featuring content with purpose, these will always be at the top of my forever learning forever failing list. But I digress.
Be sure to visit StrawberrySingh.com for a complete list of her Blog/Meme Challenges, they’re always fun and innovative.
‘Gina’ is one of two featured skins created by the lovely Shantia Soulstar of Zoul Creations that will be available this Friday at the 2015 Skin Fair. I was introduced to this brand at last year’s Skin Fair by my friend Meimei Shiu and totally fell in love with Shantia’s creations. They fit my shape almost perfectly and are a night and day change from the more youthful skins I often wear.
‘Gina’, comes with 10 makeup options in each skin tone pack with light, dark, brown and no brow versions. I went ahead and bought the sunkissed version this year and is my favorite tone besides. The appliers are sold separately but aren’t overly priced. There are also appliers for PXL’s Sweet Lips for Gina and eyeshadows which are sold separately.
This was kind of the push I needed to invest in a decent mesh mouth lips/teeth system. It took the better part of my day to get my Sweet Lips in a sweet position lol. But it was worth it. The only issue I ran into with the Zoul Creations’ Sweet Lips appliers was a bit of script lag for me I think. I ended up having to go into the edit menu under edit linked parts and click each button individually…have any of you all experienced that?
Anyway my fellow lurker extraordinaire, you’ll hear it from me, and you’ll read it every where else, try, try and then try the demos. Try them under all your favorite windlights, all your favorite facelights.. all your favorite hair and with every teeth/lip/mouth system you have, piercings, tattoos and eyeballs, and even eyebrows! Buying new skin can be daunting but if you take your time, it is well worth it, and you’ll feel happy with your investment.
Thanks for stopping by today and for putting up with the 600+ words, you’re a rockstar!
