Welcome to another episode of Sunday Sevensies, I’m your half awake, half asleep and half-pint host, Bumblebee.
Earlier during the week, my good friend Sammie invited me to LumiPro’s Release Party, and even though I wasn’t able to make it, I still wanted to share a simple image where the system made an impact in my ‘composition’.
Even though the image above is obviously heavily processed, the original snap isn’t much different in matters of lighting. With the system, you’re able to manipulate the lighting in all manner of ways. You can find a more detailed tutorial and general description here, at their website.
The lighting in this part of the skybox was scarce, even with the lamps turned on, and it was just a perfect time to get the system out. I realize there are no shadows from what I’m showing is the light source (lamp above the easel). I did that purposely to show that decent lighting makes all the difference in the world. (I got that one from V, what a genius 😛 )
Usually, I’m semi mindful of lighting ‘anything’, but this puts a whole new spin on things. Definitely check out a demo and more information at their website, just for curiosity’s sake.
If you’re already using the system, I would love if ya’ll could give me some pointers and tips!
Thanks for stopping by on your daily blogscroll and have a great rest of your weekend.
