Over the past few months, I’ve added numerous designs, creations and brands to my inventory in hopes of learning a smidgen of what SL Fashion means to me. For a run of the mill SL resident, non model, who likes to play virtual dress up now and then, I love the term, usability.
Time is a valuable commodity, and the more time I spend ‘figuring’ out a product, the less valuable it becomes in my eyes. Call me lazy, call me, maybe? (jk) I’ve found that there are products I tend to reach for and depend on for a great picture, or a night on the town, without ever having to worry about facelights, matching skin tones, or uber script count usage.
These products are what I call Fashion Friendly. They are my staples, they are dependable and the creators behind these designs are very much Fashion Forward. For this Learning 2 Style post, I am focusing on Belleza’s Mya , Gos’ Boutiques latest release, the Ursula Wedges and Ikon’s newest eye series, Vanity. (FYI If you haven’t read BOSL’s recent article with Gospel Voom, you really should)
I realize that technology has conditioned us to expect everything to be as easy as a mouse-click. So I don’t want to ever take for granted the hard work, time and effort these designers put into their creations. Credits are fine and well, but here’s a fashionewbie that would like to thank these folks for making products that help me stay confident in my game-play.
Thank you… thank you for creating Fashion Friendly products. And thank you for your loyalty to your customers.
